The Imaginary Garden, with Voix de Femmes

True to its name, Voix de Femmes celebrates women’s voices with
poets and composers who invite us to an imaginary garden that is both beautiful and indifferent to our fates.

We sing of freedom beyond prison walls; fearless birds of flight, soaring high above the world, swinging, singing, and dreaming from their lofty perch; and of the poor, gentle skylark, the “alouette,” who is in grave danger of losing his lovely plumes!

The talented Grace Cho will accompany the singers.
Soprano Carolyn Freel will join the choir and perform a couple of Beatles songs, with guitarist Leon Colbert.
